The Côte d’Opale offers wonderful opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, from coastal walks and beautiful beaches to the spectacular landscapes of Cap Gris-Nez and Cap Blanc-Nez. Whether you prefer a gentle stroll by the sea or a longer walk along the coast, some of the region’s most impressive scenery is within easy reach of Maison Grandsire.

Golf enthusiasts are also well catered for, with several excellent courses nearby, including Hardelot Golf Club (around 15 minutes by car), Le Touquet Golf Resort (around 30 minutes) and AA Saint-Omer Golf Club (around 40 minutes).

Wander through the cobbled streets of the fortified old town, walk along the medieval ramparts and discover the Basilica of Notre-Dame and its remarkable crypt. The historic belfry is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while traditional markets, shops and restaurants bring the town to life throughout the year.

Boulogne-sur-Mer is also home to Nausicaá, Europe’s largest sea centre and one of the region’s most popular attractions. Further along the Côte d’Opale, discover the beaches and seaside towns of Wimereux, Hardelot and Le Touquet, the spectacular landscapes of Cap Gris-Nez and Cap Blanc-Nez and the historic ramparts of Montreuil-sur-Mer.
